Watercolor house landscape Tutorial

1. Draft. Draw a draft in our minds and on paper.

Draw a simple draft with a pencil. Before painting watercolors, we should draw a draft in our minds at first. Now our brains design how to draw each step of the process. This kind of watercolor painting has refreshing colors.

 2. Now apply a layer of clear water on the watercolor paper. Be careful not to have too much water. The moisturizing watercolor paper is moist, but it will not drip water.

 3. Clouds. 40% navy blue + 60% clear water. Use a slightly larger brush to draw the shape of the cloud.

4. 70% navy blue + 30% clear water, paint the dark part of the cloud. Use the light green to draw the background mountains and trees.

5. Draw the house with light brown color. 

6. Draw the darker part of the house with the red-brown.

7. Draw the dark part of the trees with dark green.
